Preschool

Mission Statement

Twin Peaks Preschool provides students an exceptional early education, building a strong foundation for future learning in a caring environment that fosters social, physical, academic, and emotional growth.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy offers a high quality Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten program ensuring the best start for your child. As Longmont's only classical education school, our preschool is based on the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence and is a fee-based program for children ages 3-5 years. We are a CO Universal Preschool Provider for children who are 4 year old by October 1st.

Children in our program develop both socially and academically in a safe, stimulating environment with engaging, hands-on lessons and activities. They study nursery rhymes, letter sounds and number concepts, while being exposed to classic stories, games, and songs. A main focus of our preschool is to help students grow socially and academically to be prepared for Kindergarten and beyond. We integrate the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship, in everything we do at Twin Peaks Preschool, creating a strong community.

Leslie Chrysler

Director/Teacher

Ms. Chrysler is excited to be a part of Twin Peaks preschool. She loves adventure, art and learning and feels privileged to spend her time with children doing these exact things.

Ms. Chrysler has been teaching for 25 years in the preschool environment and loves the process of watching a child learn and become confident in his/her new skills. She loves sharing books, exploring creativity and investigating nature and science with students, and helping prepare children for many years of learning.

Ms. Chrysler and her husband Jim live in Longmont and have raised 3 boys, Andy, Josh and Ben, in this community. They finally added girls to the mix when Andy married Reena and Ben married Alice. She is Grandma to Lee and Jean.  They enjoy living so close to the mountains and the many outdoor adventures that this allows.

Ms. Chrysler enjoys connecting with children and their families and looks forward to welcoming them into her classroom and Twin Peaks Preschool.

Linton

Holli Linton

Teacher

Ms. Linton is a mom of 5 with her 3 littles attending Twin Peaks. She grew up in Michigan and went to school at Eastern Michigan University where she studied education. She taught middle school for 6 years before staying home with her kids.

Ms. Linton has been a teacher's assistant for 3 years at Twin Peaks, and this will be her first year as a Teacher at Twin Peaks Preschool.

She loves to be outside in the mountains or hanging out with her animals on her hobby farm while tending her garden.

Carucci

Ciara Carucci

Teacher

This is Ms. Carucci's first year teaching at Twin Peaks, but she is no stranger to working with children in a variety of capacities. This is her 5th year teaching preschool and she has held other titles such as nanny, climbing coach, and swim instructor. Outside of school, Ciara has an abundance of hobbies. Some of her favorites include baking, yoga, and playing with her beloved pup, Wally. She loves to be outside and is rarely found without her sunglasses on her head! She enjoys finding ways to incorporate her hobbies into the classroom through playful movement and process focused projects.

Ms. Carucci grew up in Seattle and carries a deep rooted love for the PNW with her everywhere she goes. She gets excited to dance in the rain and actively seeks out opportunities to test a variety of cuisines to see how they compare. She has been in Colorado for 6 years and has no plans to leave, though she loves to visit home. The Rocky Mountains worked their rugged charm and called her here where she is comfortably laying roots.

Sarah

Sarah Haan

Teacher Assistant

Born and raised in Indiana, Ms. Haan attended college in Michigan and Indiana, earning degrees in English, Business-CAS, and Nursing. She and her husband sought adventure and moved to Florida, where they enjoyed white sand beaches, manatees, and hurricanes (ha!) for the next decade. Their love of hiking eventually drew them to Colorado in 2021.

After working as a Labor & Delivery RN for 10 years, Ms. Haan left the medical field and joined the SVVSD in 2023 as a substitute teacher, where she discovered her love of preschool. She's thrilled to become an official part of the preschool team this year.

Outside of school, Ms. Haan loves to garden, hike, and explore Colorado with her husband and three young boys.

Josefa

Josefa Pop

Teacher Assistant

Ms. Pop is absolutely thrilled to be joining the preschool team at Twin Peaks. Having lived in Colorado for 15 years with her husband and two girls, (who also attend TPCA), Ms. Pop feels a strong connection to this community.

Ms. Pop is originally from Guatemala, where she received an associate's degree in computer science. She has ten years of experience working with children, including teaching Spanish through the community programs of SVVSD. She is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at FRCC, and can't wait to bring her passion for teaching to TPCA.

Outside of work, Ms. Pop enjoys camping, gardening, and doing crafts.
