It was a great day at the Timberwolf Trot. Fun was had by all even if it was a little chilly. Thank you to our PTO and all the volunteers!
TPCA believes that a classical education prepares students to live life well, which includes purposeful work.
We are excited to invite volunteers to present information about their careers to high school students with slots available November 1- November 11 from 12:25-12:50.
Let’s give students an idea of the many opportunities in our community! If you’re interested, please contact Ms. Cook at cook_rachel@svvsd.org
The high school had a great time visiting universities across the Front Range. If your student is a senior and interested in attending any universities in Colorado, he or she can prepare now for free application days October 18-20. Encourage your student to continue working on the Common App application (including waiving their FERPA rights so that teachers can send in letters of recommendation). If your student would like assistance in anything from writing admissions essays to practice college interviews, email cook_rachel@svvsd.org.
Glockenspiels, singing in rounds, and recorders- what better way to spend an evening than a 3rd-5th grade concert!
Our first elementary concert of the year is here!
Thursday October 6th at 6pm in the Commons
Featuring the students in
3rd grade: Mrs. Tefft's class, Ms. Rawlins' class,
4th grade: Mr. Grine's class, Ms. Finlayson's class,
5th grade: Mrs. Sherman's class.
Students should meet in their teachers classroom at 5:45 and wear school dress code or nicer clothing, please no spirit wear.
4th graders enjoyed their field trip to the Centennial Village Museum. They learned about Colorado history and life in the American West.
Timberwolf Trot pledges are due Friday! Please help the PTO support field trip buses, teacher appreciation, and FREE community events throughout the year! We are also looking for volunteers to help during the Trot. Refer to the flyer that went out in last week's folders for the schedule, donation link, and link to sign up to volunteer:

Update From The Kitchen:
The last couple years school lunch has been free for all students but now the federally funded universal free lunch program has ended. School lunch now costs money unless you qualify for free or reduced lunch.
If you need to fill out a free and reduced lunch application for the 2022-23 school year go to myschoolapps.com or you can get a paper application from the office.
If you are not sure if you qualify you can still fill out an application and you will get a letter from the district letting you know if you qualify.
FYI: If you were approved for the free or reduced lunch program last year, and you have not yet filled out a new application for this year, your free and reduced lunch will expire at the end of September.
If you do not qualify for free or reduced lunch then the cost for lunch is $3.75 for PK-8 Students, $4 for High School Students, and $5 for Adults. To check the account balance or add money to your lunch account go to myschoolbucks.com.
You can view the lunch menu at https://stvrainnutrition.org/?page=menus
If you have any questions about lunches contact Alicia Howell at howell_alicia@svvsd.org
