Our teachers and staff have been working hard this week preparing for the new school year. We are so excited for students and families to be in the building tomorrow!
Don't forget to join us tomorrow! Tomorrow is our New Student Orientation for new families, all 6th graders, and all 9th graders from 9AM-11AM. Hot dog lunch will be served at 11AM. Open House for all returning families from will be from 1PM-3PM.
As we are preparing for the return of students, we have removed locks from all student lockers. This decision was made for student safety and for easing the stress for students during passing periods. We suggest students do not bring valuables to school, but in the event a student needs a locked location to store a cell phone or other valuables during the day, we will be providing a check-in service. Students will be able to check in valuables in the morning (near the secondary front office) and they will be stored securely until check out between 3:00PM- 3:15PM. Thank you for your support in helping us create a safer and more focused learning environment for your student!
Follow the link to check out some tips, tricks, and guidance for our drop off driveline before the first day of school! Also, check out the Quick Start Guide on our website for a detailed map. We suggest you drive by the school and get the lay of the land before the first day! https://youtu.be/lrpvs56niOY

A little about me, I graduated from UNCO with my masters degree in Elementary Education in 2020. I am married and am a Colorado native! In my spare time I love reading, crafting, visiting friends and family, and doing puzzles! I am so proud to be a part of the Twin Peaks Classical Academy family, go Timberwolves!"
We want to welcome our new 6th grade English teacher- Zach Klein. You may recognize him as he has been coaching men's and women's soccer for Twin Peaks already. This will be his first year teaching and we are excited to have him join our teaching staff. Welcome, Mr. Klein!
Hey, Timberwolves! You can walk right on by those school supply displays you see in every store. Twin Peaks Classical Academy provides all school supplies to our K-12 students as part of student fees. Students need to bring a backpack, water bottle, and a lunch box (if they are bringing lunch from home)- the rest will be waiting in their classrooms on the first day of school! #schoolsupplies #twinpeaksclassicalacademy #longmont #backtoschool
Another Summer Project done for our drive lines.
Speaking of Summer projects… next week I hope to have a day and a time to call for parent and secondary student volunteers. The classroom floor project is almost done, and we need to get classroom furniture back into classrooms, so the hallways can be painted in our school colors! Like most major projects I don’t have a specific date yet, but when I do I’ll seek our community out for assistance!
Joe Mehsling
