Parking, drop-off, and driveline, oh my! We are super excited to have students again on Tuesday, but along with that comes the drive line! Brush up on your plan and take a look at all of the resources we have made for you to help with the smooth process! Please remember that we have installed speed bumps this summer, so don't lose your muffler flying through the driveline. Also, the Boston bridge construction may add some time to your commute. Please watch our video and look through the handbook at the maps provided to you! We can't wait to see everyone!

Welcome Back! Timberwolf Nation News.

Doors, Speed Bumps & the Boston Avenue Bridge Project.
Student entry doors will open at 7:40 the first week of school, at 7:45 the second and third weeks of school and at 7:50 after Labor Day.
Speed Bumps have been installed in the West Drop-off/Pick-up loop; drive accordingly please.
The Boston Avenue Bridge will be closed the first day of school, on Tuesday the 13th. It is already a confusing day, and this will compound it, with only one way in and one way out via S. Francis to the Secondary lot. Please be patient. The good news though is it means the Boston Avenue Bridge project is ahead of schedule.
I look forward to seeing many of you on Monday during our new family open house at 9:00am and returning families at 1:00pm.
Joe Mehsling

Let's give a big welcome to Josefa Pop! She will be a Preschool Instructional Assistant this year, but you may already know her as a Twin Peaks parent.
Hi, my name is Josefa Pop. I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the preschool team. Having lived in Colorado for 15 years with my husband and two girls, who also attend TPCA, I feel a strong connection to this community. I am originally from Guatemala, where I received an associate's degree in computer science. I have ten years of experience working with children, including teaching Spanish through the community programs of SVVSD. I am currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at FRCC, and I can't wait to bring my passion for teaching to TPCA.
I enjoyed camping, gardening, and doing crafts.

Please give a welcome to our new 4th grade teacher, Sydnie Louderback!
Hello! My name is Sydnie Louderback. I completed my undergrad at CSU in Fort Collins, and later earned my master’s degree in Teaching and Learning to help me better serve my students and hone my craft. I have been an elementary teacher for the past five years and am so excited to start my sixth year by teaching fourth grade at Twin Peaks! When I’m not in the classroom or diving into a good book, I love to spend time with my sweet dog, Bella, or explore new places and cultures with my partner, Harrison.

Help us welcome Mary Robertson to the Twin Peaks team! Mary will be working as a Para with our Special Education students.
Hi! My name is Mary Robertson. I have been working in early childhood education

and friends. I love listening to music and going to concerts. I can't wait to see old
friends and meet new ones!

A big welcome to our new Code 4 Security team member, Kale Mayfield!
My name is Kale Mayfield. I grew up in Johnstown where I attended Roosevelt High School. In high school I played football and competed in track. I was also involved in FBLA and FCA. After school I briefly attended Sterling College in central Kansas where I played football. After returning from Kansas I worked for the Weld County Sheriff’s Office as a Detentions Deputy for three years before transferring to the Johnstown Police Department as a patrol officer for a year. In my free time now I enjoy weight training and spending time with my beautiful fiancé. I am looking forward to working at Twin Peaks and the energy that kids provide everyday as the opportunity to positively influence them.

Join us in welcoming Emily Oliger to the Timberwolf team! She will be teaching 2nd grade.
Hi, my name is Emily Oliger, and I am so excited to get started at Twin Peaks! I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May, and this is my first full time teaching position. I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and spending time with my partner and our two cats. I have lived in Colorado for 12 years, and have been lucky enough to enjoy many of the natural wonders that the state has to offer. I have a passion for elementary education, and I cannot wait to teach second grade this year!

We're back and ready for the start of the 2024-25 school year! The Website's Events Calendar has all of the dates you need to get ready to send your children to school. I'll have several more posts this week with a few new things happening at TPCA this year.

Join us in welcoming Sarah Haan to the Preschool Team as an Instructional Assistant! You may recognize her as a parent and a regular TPCA substitute!
Born and raised in Indiana, Sarah attended college in Michigan and Indiana, earning degrees in English, Business-CAS, and Nursing. She and her husband sought adventure and moved to Florida, where they enjoyed white sand beaches, manatees, and hurricanes (ha!) for the next decade. Their love of hiking eventually drew them to Colorado in 2021.
After working as a Labor & Delivery RN for 10 years, Sarah left the medical field and joined the SVVSD in 2023 as a substitute teacher, where she discovered her love of preschool. She's thrilled to become an official part of the preschool team this year.
Outside of school, Sarah loves to garden, hike, and explore Colorado with her husband and three young boys.
