Our next elementary school concert of the year is here! Come join us on Tuesday December 10th at 6pm to see what our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been learning in music class. This concert includes students from the following classes: Mr. Guay, Ms. Mowat, Ms. Louderback, Ms. Zimmer, and Ms. Mikesell.
REMINDER: The TPCA PTO is hosting a coat drive/exchange in conjunction with our winter uniform exchange. Collection boxes are located in the front offices and donations will be accepted through December 10th. The exchange and sale for these items as well as uniforms will be from 3-5:45pm in the Cafeteria on Tuesday, December 10th. On December 16, 17, 18 Twin Peaks Classical Academy has early release for all students in PK-12th grade. The times vary a bit, depending on the day. Please see below for the schedule.
-Monday, 12/16 Students dimissed at 12:25; lunch is served as normal.
-Tuesday, 12/17 Students dimissed at 12:25; lunch is served as normal.
-Wednesday, 12/18 Students dimissed at 10:50; no lunch is served.
We follow our typical procedure for pick-up times. Families that do not pick up Elementary students within 20 minutes of dismissal will be assessed a fee of $20/day per child.

Open Enrollment began today! Make sure to submit your Intent to Enroll form between December 2nd - December 16th to be entered into the first round lottery for the 25/26 school year. Current families with students in grades K-11 do not need to do anything, your enrollment rolls over automatically year to year. Current TPCA PreK students that are moving to Kindergarten DO need to submit an Intent to Enroll to be entered into the lottery.

Giving Tuesday is on December 3rd this year. Our Giving Tuesday donations will be used to stock our teacher supply closets! We believe our teachers should be able to spend their time preparing great lessons and helping students, not worrying about the supplies they need to teach! We have some exciting news to share! As Ms. Burns transitions to the Executive Director role, Dr. Aaron Moe has accepted the Secondary Principal position. Please join us in welcoming him to another role at Twin Peaks Classical Academy!
Dr. Moe taught middle school English at Twin Peaks Classical Academy from 2005-2010, after which he left to pursue and earn his doctorate at Washington State University (Go Cougs!!). In 2014, he joined Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, as an assistant professor, but in 2019 it was time to come home. Home to family. Home to the mountains. And home to TPCA! Arriving full circle, he returned as a middle school English teacher and transitioned to high school literature shortly after. In 2024, he took on an assistant principal role and is now excited to become the 6-12 principal.

Winter is coming! Do you have your gear? If not, let us help! The TPCA PTO will be hosting a coat drive/exchange this year, in conjunction with our winter uniform exchange. Starting on December 2nd collection boxes will be out for any of your unused or outgrown coats and winter gear. On December 10th we will be hosting an exchange and sale for these items, and uniforms. Mark your calendars! The PTO will be hosting a Winter Uniform Exchange and Sale on Tuesday, December 10th from 3pm-5:45pm. Bring in those uniform pieces that are too small or out of season and trade for some new items to start the Spring semester. As a reminder, you earn two credits for every item traded in. New items can be purchased for one credit or $3 a piece. See you there!

Last week, 5 of our fifth grade students had the opportunity to participate in the St. Vrain Valley School District Elementary Choral Festival! Taking part in this event required a commitment from the students to learn their music at home. On the day of the festival, they joined with students from all the elementary schools across the district to rehearse for a concert that evening. They put on a great performance and we appreciate their representing TPCA in the wider community!
A huge thank you to Ms. Mahoney for her help preparing the students for the event and supporting their participation! Thank you also to Ms. Carpenter and her high school choir students for giving our elementary choir students surprise gifts and encouragement before the festival!
