One of the ways Twin Peaks helps students prepare for their futures is through our high school Career Days. Beginning in November and continuing intermittently through March, we will welcome members of our community so share their work experience with students. We love having presenters from all sorts of careers, so please invite family and friends! Our high school students yesterday had the amazing opportunity to visit Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado, CU Denver, or the Colorado School of Mines. Our college visit day helps students to better understand what their options are after high school. Our vision statement ends "... that prepares all students for the opportunity for acceptance into a four year university." We encourage all of our students to keep an open mind when thinking about their future.

We know it sounds crazy but we’re already talking about teacher conferences. Each year the PTO provides dinner for our teachers and staff during conferences. This has become a fun tradition for us to support our teachers during these long days. Volunteers are needed in two-hour shifts to help set up and clean up dinner. This is a great opportunity to involve kids and family members who are looking for an easy way to help, and dinner is provided! To sign up for a shift please follow this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090D48ABA929A3F94-51869124-tpca If you don’t see a shift that works for you, have questions or want to get involved in other ways please reach out to Shannon directly at shannon@twinpeakspto.org
